Mason Clark Associates have undertaken a principal inspection of each structure at Sutton Bridge, North Bridge and Drypool Bridge, including arranging for required boat access, MEWP access and traffic management subcontractors. Then uploading the findings onto the Local Authority’s online asset management programme.

We also carried out assessments of each structure in accordance with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, including producing Approval in Principle (AIP) documents, liaising with an independent Category 3 checker, modelling the structures using the 3D bridge analysis software Midas Civil and carrying out detailed calculations for the complex structures.
