Bourn Reservoir

Mason Clark Associates Structural Engineers have designed this new build 8ml reservoir structure for the water South Staffordshire Water Authority. We have made steady progress with the build. All the walls are complete, and we are in the process of installing the precast roof planks. Made up of several cells with concrete roof planks installed.

The innovative design includes early involvement of our engineers to design in buildability for the contracting team, together with safety access, handrailing and permanent staircase finished with the structural roof screed.

The anti-carbonation paint has been applied to the reservoir which has made a difference to the appearance when you approach the site from the Cambridge end.
