Remaking Beamish

Construction work is progressing at Beamish on the major HLF funded project, Remaking Beamish. Vibro compaction is being used to prepare the site for the proposed Coaching Inn. Large buried tanks have been installed as part of the new waste water treatment system to deal with the ever increasing visitor numbers. The ridge pole is in place for the reconstructed Joe the Quilter’s Cottage.
