John Mitchell

John is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, with over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, including 16 years in management roles, working within multi-disciplinary construction consultant companies.

Throughout John’s career he has developed his knowledge and skills across a wide range of projects including both new build and refurbishment projects for private, public and third sector clients. He has also held senior positions within an organisation specialising in fast track construction projects procured on a construction management basis.

He has gained experience working on projects ranging from domestic alterations through to larger commercial and industrial multi-million pound projects. His experience in providing initial cost advice allows him to ensure projects are developed from a sound financial basis facilitating an efficient development of the design process. John is fully conversant with different procurement methods and has a detailed knowledge of a range of contracts including JCT, NEC and framework arrangements.
