Victoria Mills Grimsby

Mason Clark Associates worked closely in partnership with North East Lincolnshire Council and ENGIE to provide Conservation Engineering design services and acted as Principal Designer at Victoria Mills in Grimsby.

This ten-storey high Grade II Listed historic grain mill was in a derelict and dangerous condition, with concerns over falling debris and unstable masonry.

MCA carried out structural investigations and assessments, advised on remote monitoring and designed Urgent Works to safeguard neighbouring properties, together with sensitive long-term repairs and refurbishment. It is hoped that this will allow a sustainable use to be found for the impressive brick structure in the future.
